  • To see info of Geeni devices, follow the below instructions:

    1. Open the Geeni app and from the main devices list select Geeni device.

  • Yes, you can make a group of same Geeni devices. To group Geeni devices open the Geeni app & follow the below instructions: 

    1. From your main device list, click on one of the devices you want to group.

    2. Press the “…” button on the top right corner for advanced settings.

    4. Now Choose which devices you’d like to group together and click save.

  • Yes, you can share Geeni devices.

    Note: The other user's number must be registered in the Geeni App .

    Here goes the process:

    Open the Geeni App & In the Geeni app,

    1. Press the Profile button.

    2. Click on the “Device Sharing” button.

    3. Click on ‘Add sharing’.

    4. Choose the devices you want to share and click on ‘share with new member’ button.

    5. Now select your country and enter your mobile number and click confirm to add a new member with whom you want to share.

  • No, you won't be able to resolve Geeni devices remotely. You'll need to have physical access to troubleshoot.

  • You can claim your product by opening a warranty claim.

    To open a warranty claim we'll need the following:

    1. Model Number

    2. Receipt or Internet Purchase. (Any tracking information is not sufficient)

    3. Pictures of the item as well as the back or bottom where the model number is. (Please show the color of the device.)
    4. Valid US Mailing Address

  • LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

    Geeni is a trademark of Merkury Innovations. Your Merkury Innovations Products are covered by a limited product warranty (Limited Warranty) for the 1-year period following the original date of purchase (Warranty Period). If a substantial defect in material or workmanship arises with your Merkury Innovations Product, and a valid warranty claim is received by Merkury Innovations within the Warranty Period, you will be entitled to a replacement of the product purchased or a similar product (depending on availability).
    This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end purchaser of the applicable Merkury Innovations Product. Proof of purchase in the form of the original purchase receipt or packaging slip is required for warranty validation and service. Warranty claims must be made directly to Merkury Innovations. Merkury Innovations reserves the right to inspect the product and determine whether it is defective in materials or workmanship. If we find that the product is defective, we shall at no charge to you repair or replace the product at our discretion, and return the product to you. You are responsible for shipping costs to Merkury Innovations but there is no charge for the inspection or the return postage within the United States. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from accidental drops, misuse, abuse, tampering, modification, or breakage due to improper care.

    Merkury innovations is not responsible for damages resulting from any breach of warranty including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, and loss of anticipated profits. Merkury innovation’s warranties do not cover any third party devices or the personal property of any consumer (includes smartphones, tablets & computers). Any alteration, change, modification, or repair (other than replacement of a replaceable component) made to the product by a party other than merkury innovations or authorized service providers will void this warranty.

    MERKURY INNOVATION’S WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MERKURY INNOVATION SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF THE LAW PROHIBITS MERKURY INNOVATIONS FROM DISCLAIMING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATIONS REFERRED TO HITHERTO.

    EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

    This Limited Warranty does not cover any Merkury Innovations Product purchased through non-authorized dealers and/or online auction websites. Non-authorized dealer receipts and/or online sales auction confirmations are NOT accepted for warranty verification.

    This Limited Warranty applies only to the Merkury Innovations Product. The Limited Warranty does not extend to or otherwise apply to any non- Merkury Innovations Product, even if packaged or sold with the Merkury Innovations Product. This Limited Warranty applies only to the normal use of the covered Merkury Innovations Product, normal wear and tear excepted, in accordance with the written use instructions provided with the Merkury Innovations Product. This Limited Warranty does not apply to damage to the Merkury Innovations Product caused by accident, abuse, misuse, use for any purpose other than its intended purpose, acts of God, or any alteration or modification of the Merkury Innovations Product.

  • To remove scheduled time for Geeni devices follow the below instructions:

    1. Open the Geeni app and from main devices list select the Geeni device you want.

    There are two methods to remove timer :

    A) You can directly switch it off.

    B) You can permanently delete the scheduled timer.

    1. Long press the scheduled timer which you want to delete.

  • Yes, if you don't want to control shared devices then you can remove it from your device list by following these steps:

    1. Click on the shared device you want to remove from your main device list.

    2. Click on the settings (...) button on the top right corner.

    3. Now, click on remove sharing.

  • Currently you are not able to share a Geeni group to another phone but we are working on it.

  • Geeni devices are only compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. At this time, you won't be able to connect the Geeni app to Siri.

  • If your Geeni smart device stops working or goes offline, it is because of the following reasons:

    1. You have intermittent or lost Internet connection.
    2. Power outage or power surge.
    3. Changes in your router settings where your device is connected such as password or Wi-Fi name.
    4. You’ve changed your router or your internet provider.

    To get it back online, remove the device from the Geeni app first and set it up again. You can follow the steps below.

     

    How to remove device:

    From the main device list, select the device which you want to remove.

    Click on the (…) button on the top right corner. Scroll down until you see “Remove Device”.

    Click on the remove device option.

    If you will be removing multiple offline devices you can press and hold one of the devices you want to remove until all devices shake, then select the devices you want to remove. Selected devices will have a check mark at the right corner.

    At the bottom of the screen, tap “Remove Device” and hit “Done”.

  • No, there is no portal to control your Geeni devices. You can control your Geeni devices only form your Android Or iOS devices.

  • No Geeni will not work because Geeni products need to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to use them remotely.
