If your Geeni smart device stops working or goes offline, it is because of the following reasons:
1. You have intermittent or lost Internet connection.
2. Power outage or power surge.
3. Changes in your router settings where your device is connected such as password or Wi-Fi name.
4. You’ve changed your router or your internet provider.
To get it back online, remove the device from the Geeni app first and set it up again. You can follow the steps below.
How to remove device:
From the main device list, select the device which you want to remove.
Click on the (…) button on the top right corner. Scroll down until you see “Remove Device”.
Click on the remove device option.
If you will be removing multiple offline devices you can press and hold one of the devices you want to remove until all devices shake, then select the devices you want to remove. Selected devices will have a check mark at the right corner.
At the bottom of the screen, tap “Remove Device” and hit “Done”.
