Step 1  Tap on the Merkury LED strip tile on the Home page to access more light strip features.

Step 2  To select the desired color, press and drag the color indicator.

Step 3  To adjust the Brightness of color, press on the top of the inner circle titled Brightness and scroll down and up to adjust.

You may also adjust the brightness of the lights from the tile on your home page as shown below.

Step 4  To select shades of white light strip color, tap on the Temperature icon on the bottom right corner.

Step 5  Tap to select the desired color on the Temperature wheel.

Step 6  To adjust the Brightness of color, press on the top of the inner circle titled brightness and scroll down and up to adjust.

Step 7  Tap on the Colors Icon to return to the color wheel.

Step 8  Tap on the history on the bottom left hand side, this will allow you to view the previous 5 colors used

Step 9  Tap on the Colors Icon to return to the color wheel.

You’re all set!  You can now access features and use the controls!

Prior to beginning the pairing process, ensure you have downloaded the Merkury Smart by Geeni app and successfully created an account. If so, you are ready to start the pairing process!

What’s needed

• Know your Wi-Fi network and password
• Mobile device running iOS® 14 or higher or Android™ 11 or higher
• Make sure you’re connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (Merkury Smart by Geeni app cannot connect to 5GHz networks)
• Make sure that the Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.

Step 1   On the Home screen select the Devices button from bottom right to add your new device

Step 2   From the Devices screen, select the (+) icon in the top right corner

Step 3  Select the Merkury LED Strip to pair, then select confirm.  

Select Okay on the Get Ready to Pair screen and ensure you select Allow/Ok for pop-up’s related to Location and Bluetooth as these are mandatory to continue

Step 4  Select Continue to pair if the LED strip is flashing.

If the indicator lights are not flashing press the power button on the Wi-Fi- Controller of the device.

Step 5  Select continue on the Confirm Pairing Mode screen.

Step 6  Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password and select continue

Step 7  iOS users will see a pop-up to join the network, select Join

            Android users may or may not see a pop-up to select the network that begins with

Merkury-xxxx

The screen will then be followed by three screens (Shown below) as the device is connecting to the network

Step 8     Select Continue on the Device paired! Screen.

Step 9   Name your LED Strip or select a preset name to be displayed on the Home Screen, then select next.

Step 10 Select Continue on the Congratulations! Screen.

Step 11 Select Okay to go to the Home screen.

You’re all set!  Your Merkury Smart LED Strip is now paired!
