Same sort of issue. Mine apparently formats but playback never works... It keeps saying "Start Formatting the SD Card." Every time :( kinda sad actually.

I have a CRAZY situation here....mine actually worked wonderful after formatting it, and it has worked for the past few months with no problems. i have mine facing outside on my car and last night well there were issues with people messing with my car. anyway I viewed the playbacks non stop last night after, all day today. well i viewed the last playback around 8pm then left my house and was back by 9pm. I open my app and click the playback link and "SD card not found" pops up. so I am just taken back like and seriously confused because it was fine a hour before. I go to  find the section where you can format the SD card, see your GB's and it is not there. The SD card option is absolutely nowhere in my app. Everything is up to date and such. So i did submit a ticket. After submitting a ticket I thought i would remove the SD card and reinsert it and maybe that would do something. HERE IS THE CRAZY PART. There is no SD card in the camera. Its like the camera ate it or something because it literally vanished within that hour. I live with my children and we all left for that hour. No one else has a key to my house and the camera was not moved at all. so of course i look on the floor and in the area of the camera thinking maybe somehow it shot it out some weird way. Nope no card, It seriously vanished in an hour and i lost all the footage of situation with my car last night, and well everything. I am so flabbergasted it is unbelievable. When I say this card has vanished that is exactly what I mean, like i said it is like the freaking camera somehow ate the it, i have to other way to describe it. But if anyone has any suggestions I am totally open to hear them.
